On January 12, 2006, the usability guru Don Norman was visiting the Netherlands to receive an honorary doctorate at the Delft University of Technology. The day before receiving his doctorate he was kind enough to speak at The experience of everyday things symposium.
After his excellent talk on intelligent cars we had an opportunity to meet up with him again. We luckily took up the courage to show him the special hatwear we made as a variation of the quite conspicuous Paduan honorary doctorate hat he wore during the defence of Stephan Wensveen.
